A Celebration of Life for Nicky-Ann (Nicky/Ning) Astwood 💕

With heavy hearts but full of love, we invite you to join us in celebrating the life of our beloved Nicky who left us on 12 October 2025.

Rather than mourn in black, we invite you to wear bright colours — just as Nicky would have likely already instructed you. Let’s fill the room with warmth, laughter, and stories that honour the beautiful and vibrant spirit she brought into all our lives.

📍 Location: Silverstream Retreat, 3 Reynolds Bach Drive, Stokes Valley

🕒 Time: 11.00am

For those who would like to visit and say a personal goodbye, Nicky will be held at Gee and Hickton, corner of  Cornwall Street and Knights Road, Lower Hutt, from Tuesday 14 October – Wednesday 15 October, 8-5pm, (after hours by appointment). Please note, Nicky’s casket will be open for this period and during the funeral service.

Please bring along a photo or a memory of Nicky to add to our Memory Table – whether it’s funny, heartfelt, or something wonderfully random, we’d love to keep these moments alive.

In her final days Nicky-Ann was lovingly taken care of by the beautiful staff at Te Omanga Hospice. We ask instead of flowers that guests donate to this wonderful service.
