Paula Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD: Paula Lynn (nee Mullan); on June 25, 2025 peacefully at Te Omanga Hospice, Lower Hutt Paula’s brave journey with bladder cancer came to an end; aged 52 years.  Dearly loved wife of Mark and loved and valued Mum to James, Leo, and Ollie and her much loved dog Allie.  Loved daughter of Jim (dec) and Sylvia Mullan. Loved sister and sister in law of Rose-Anne and Gareth, Theresa and Erik and her wider family.  Loved aunty to Jason, Michael, Tasman, and Anna.  Special thanks to all of the staff at Bowen Hospital and Te Omanga Hospice for their loving care shown to Paula and family.   In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Omanga Hospice would be appreciated and may be left online at  https://www.teomanga.org.nz/support-us/support-us-donate/.  A tireless worker to the community and a much loved teacher to many.  A celebration of Paula’s life will be held in Lane Park Church, 22 Lane Street, Upper Hutt on Tuesday July 1, 2025 at 11.00am thereafter to the Akatarawa Cemetery for a private burial.  Paula has requested that we all wear bright colours to her celebration of life.
