Anita Brown

Passed away peacefully on Saturday 3rd January 2026 at Te Hopai, aged 86. Beloved wife of Malcolm, mother and mother in law of Mark & Nina, Antonia & Roz, Rick & Donal and Tiff & Peter. Adored grandmother to all her grandchildren. Treasured sister, aunt and friend to many. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful carers at Te Hopai, who have made Anita’s last few months a happy and comforting time. A celebration of Anita’s life will take place at Queen Margaret College Hall, 53 Hobson Street, Thorndon, Wellington on Friday 9th January 2026 at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
