CANNONS Alena Ann (Anne) QSM
After a long illness Anne was peacefully Promoted to Glory aged 88 years on 25 March 2026.
Devoted wife to Roy for 62 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Clive and Lee; Russell; Paul and Tanya. Loved and admired by her grandchildren Alec and Alice; Laura and Finn; Joshua and Maxine. The fourth of seven children, she is sadly missed by her loving family.
Anne’s life was defined by her love, faithfulness, service and fun. Through her kindness and care she influenced and touched many lives. Her work within the Salvation Army is remembered in South Auckland and Upper Hutt.
‘Brother, Sister, let me serve you.
Let me be as Christ to you.’
A service will be held in the Salvation Army Citadel, 695 Fergusson Dr, Upper Hutt on 30th March at 2.00pm. Thereafter a burial in Akatarawa Cemetery on 31st March at 11am.
