DOOLEY, Mary Elizabeth: Passed away peacefully on Sunday April 12, 2026, in her 94th year. Much loved, admired and treasured sister and sister-in-law of Father John (dec), Father Patrick sm, Bridie, and Jim Dolan (dec), Father James sm and Bernard and Valerie. Loved Aunty Mary of her extended family. Special thanks to Sipa and Mary’s carers at Shona McFarlane Rest Home for the generous care and kindness they gave Mary. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 59 Waiwhetu Road, Lower Hutt on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 1.00pm, followed by an interment at Taita Lawn Cemetery. Mary’s Requiem Mass will be livestreamed, and the link can be found via Gee & Hickton’s website under upcoming services. A Rosary Vigil will be celebrated in the above-mentioned church on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 7.30pm. In lieu of flowers you are invited to donate to St Vincent de Paul Society.
