Died peacefully at Hutt Hospital on 12 July 2025, aged 102 years.

Loving husband of Therese.

Father of Gerard, Vincent, Stephen, Louise (dec), Julia and Bridget.

Pop to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be held in St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Pine St, Upper Hutt, on Monday 21 July 2025, at 7pm.

Requiem Mass for Alex will be held in the above Church on 22 July 2025, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Akatarawa Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver in Island Bay would be appreciated and can be made at the service.

Alex will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
