On 27 November 2023 at Shona McFarlane Retirement Village, Lower Hutt.  Dearly beloved wife of the late Ivan Gibson. Loved sister of Lorraine (dec), Ken (dec), Alan (dec) and Neville. Much loved mother of Craig, Bronwyn (Bronnie) and Andi; and mother in law of Gaynor, Pete and Geof. Best ever Nana of Fi & Christina, Cam & Christelle, Janet & David; Damian & Anna, Jeremy & Kerstin, Sandi & Mark; TEEJ and Alex. Treasured Granny of Elias, Carter, Cooper, Kaila, Hudson, Scarlett, Finn, Luca, Lucy and Corey. Special thanks to the many caring staff at Shona McFarlane for the care shown to Valerie and Ivan over many years.
