Passed away peacefully on 5 October 2026, aged 82 years. Husband of the late Frances Elizabeth Holmes. Dad and father-in-law to Margaret & Kevin, Rick & Nicola, Will & Wendy, Graham, and Sherie & Mark. Gumps to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to the staff at Access and Hutt Hospital for their care of Richard. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held in Kingswood, corner of King Street and Cairo Street, Upper Hutt, on Friday 9 October 2026 at 2.00pm. Followed by private cremation.
