JANUSZKIEWICZ, Stanisław (Stan) Died suddenly on Thursday, 5 February 2026, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of Zofia, devoted ‘Tata’ of Krysia, Stefan, Marysia and Stasia, adored ‘Dziadziu’ of Aniela, James, Matthew, Connor, Renice and Josh, and ‘Pra-Dziadek’ of Jordan, Ava, Skye and Krysia. A much-loved father-in-law of John, Roy, and Craig, and grandfather-in-law of Steve and Judy.
Proud to be Polish, and deeply grateful to be a New Zealand citizen, he lived for his family. Loving, kind, and generous, he was truly one of life’s gentlemen.
A service for Stanisław will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 41 Britannia St, Petone on Friday, 13 February 2026, beginning with a Rosary at 11.30am, followed by a Requiem Mass at 12.00pm, and burial at Makara Cemetery at 3.00pm.
