Joan Patricia Lynch

Passed away peacefully on 27 October 2026, aged 91 years.

Born and raised in Lower Hutt, Mum was a kind and caring woman. Over 30 years ago, Mum and Dad retired to Taupō, where Mum enjoyed active involvement with Red Cross, Probus and the Women’s Club, forming many valued friendships.

As her health gradually declined, Mum returned to Wellington following Dad’s passing, to be closer to family.

A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at Gee & Hickton’s Guardian Chapel, Porirua, on Tuesday 3 November 2026 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
