Ian passed away peacefully on 21st November 2024. Aged 64 years.
Dearly loved husband of Claire and much loved and admired Dad of Richard and Julia, and Richard’s partner Mel. Loved friend and mentor to Valerie. Adored Grandad to Charlotte, Jonah, Theo and Nathan. Much loved son of the late Clifford and Lorraine. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Lynnaire and Kim and their families. A special brother in law to Ross and Jude.
Ian fought a hard and long battle with courage and positivity.
Special thanks and appreciation to Mary Potter Hospice, Kenepuru District Nurses, Bowen Icon Cancer Centre, Dr Judith Laing, Mr J Wicks for the wonderful care received during Ians illness.
A celebration of Ian’s life will be held in Gee and Hickton’s Guardian Chapel, Auty Lane Porirua on Monday 25 November at 11.00am .
