Charles Stephen McKenna

After a brief illness, Charles passed away peacefully with family. Aged 86 years. Much loved husband of the late Raphael (Rae), greatly loved father and father in law of Andrew and Sophie, loved Grandad of James, Alex and Kate. A kind and sweet man until the end.

Many thanks to Hutt Hospital staff and Sam Burcher at Ropata for Charles’ care over the years and especially more recently.

A funeral service to celebrate Charles’ life is to be held in St Martin de Porres Church, Park Ave, Avalon on Monday 27 November at 2pm.
