Peter Lockhart McNeill

Passed away peacefully at Te Omanga hospice on Thursday 3rd of October 2024. Son of Robert and Joan. Beloved husband of Margaret (dec). Son-in-law to John and Nancy and brother-in-law to John. Father and father-in-law of Vaughan, Keith, Gavin, Andrea and Jacki. Grandfather to James, Louis and Bede. Eldest brother to Bernadette, Pauline and Stephen. A maker of things, photographer, engineer, generous neighbour and friend. Peter had a special relationship with Te Omanga Hospice, donations would be appreciated and can be made via https://www.teomanga.org.nz/support-us/support-us-donate/  Thanks must also go to the oncology staff at Wellington hospital for their care and support of Peter over the last twelve years.  A service for Peter will be held in St Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 60 Knights Road, Lower Hutt, on Wednesday 9 October 2024, at 10.00am, followed by a burial at Taita Cemetery.
