Jim Meikle

MEIKLE, James Enfield (Jim). – On February 15, 2026, at home with his family and beautiful garden; aged 87 years. Devoted and loved husband of Elizabeth for 62 years. Much adored father and father-in-law of Susan & Michael, Belinda, and the late James. Cherished grandfather of Amelia, Henry and Eva, Albert, Wilbur and Teddy. Jim lived a long and full life and will be missed by his many friends, fellow golfers, and bridge players. A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in St Marys Anglican Church, 13 Terminus St, Silverstream, Upper Hutt on Saturday, 21 February 2026 at 2.00pm.
