Phyllis Joyce Parkes (Star) – Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed peacefully at Hutt Hospital on 11 July 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Adored wife of the late Stan. Precious Mother of Jenny Stratford and Jill Hagen. Loved Mother-in-law of Philip and Robert.  Devoted Grandmother of Lara, Melissa, Hayley, Abby, Antony and Angie. Cherished Great Grandmother of Taylor, Riley, Madi, Hunter, Bonnie, Jemima, Lulu, Amelia, Bronte, Annabelle, Paxton, Jed, Hendrix, Summer, Isabelle, Zoe and Oscar.

Phyllis didn’t quite make her 100^th birthday but we are left with 99 years of beautiful memories.

Deepest thanks to the caring staff at Hutt Hospital.

A celebration of her life will take place at Knox Presbyterian Church, High Street, Lower Hutt on Wednesday 17 July 2024, at 11am, followed by a burial at Akatarawa cemetery.
