Phyllis RIEPER
Formerly of Napier and Lower Hutt. On September 13, 2025 peacefully at Hutt Hospital, surrounded by family; recently celebrating her 99th birthday. Beloved wife of the late André. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Jennie (dec) & Richard, John & Karen, Terry & Linda. Loved grandma of David, Tim, Tracy (dec), Amanda, Anna, Richard, Mathew, Lara, Kyle, Julia, Andrew, and Scott. A steady quiet influence with endless love for her 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild Thomas. Phyll was one of three sisters; her departure was preceded by her beloved younger sister Miriam and her confidant and identical twin Mavis (Amie). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be can be made online www.cancer.org.nz. A memorial service to celebrate Phyll’s life will be held in Cornwall Manor, corner of Knights Rd and Cornwall St, Lower Hutt, on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 2.00pm.
