SALLA, Ellie (Eleanor Clare)(nee Smith)
Died peacefully on Saturday 7th February 2026 at Shona McFarlane Retirement Village, aged 84 with her loving family by her side. Dearly loved wife of the late Tony. Cherished big sister and sister-in-law to Marion and the late Ian, Noel and Louise. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Nickie, Guy, Josie & Roy. Adored Ayah of Ollie, Sophie, Reuben, Jayden and Pearl. Loved grandmother of Cameron and Chloe and proud ‘GG’ to Nixon. A heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Shona McFarlane for all their compassionate care of our dear Mum.

A celebration of Ellie’s life will take place at Cornwall Manor cnr Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt on Saturday 14th February 2026 at 11.00am, followed by a cremation.
