Oma,
I feel very grateful to have known you and to have been welcomed into your family. I will always remember your gentle nature and kindness, and especially spending time enjoying the sunshine and a glass of bubbles together.
You will be deeply missed, but your memory will live on in all the family you loved so dearly. Rest peacefully, Oma.

While we may have never met Oma we were treated to stories of her stoic nature and skillful hand at making slippers.
Our deepest condolences to all.

A new star has appeared in the sky tonight and I looked up as that star twinkled and remembered the wonderful times shared with my number 2 Mum over the years . Long chats in our flat in Tinakori Road, joy at our wedding, snow ball flights in New York. Love and laughter shared many times for a 21st birthday, an engagement snd many birthdays and Christmas times together . You always did enjoy my Christmas fairy decorations. Oh what wonderful fun times we had. Special memories. I wish you now in your next journey you find your John and can share some new adventures together.
Luv and hugs as always.

Dearest family of Oma,
Boy, were we lucky to share many wonderful moments with Oma. To us, her fierce independence was only outshone by her drive to seize every day. It’s no wonder she has left such an amazing lineage of caring, successful people.
Tinky and I feel great sorrow at Oma’s passing, but she is also now free, and for that feeling, we give thanks.
Love always,
Dottie and Tinky. xx

In loving memory of Jane (Jeanne), late wife of my brother, John (Jan) deceased.
A life well lived meeting many challenges with faith, courage and strength.
We have great memories of the many visits to and from both sides of the “ditch”.
A special sister-in-law to both Margaret and Paul, and Aunty to John-Paul, Zelda and family, Michael and Rachel; Vanessa, Roberto and family.

Throughout my life, I have always felt such a strong, close, loving connection with Aunty Jane, despite living in different countries.
From a little girl hearing many of Jane’s strong ‘Ja’ ‘Ja’ as she listened to me talk, to Jane ringing me as an adult for my birthday. Such consistent loving connection, despite the distance.
I am very grateful for Aunty Jane.
Feeling regret to not be present with my cousins Ali, John and Richard, but sending much love to my cousins and their families at this time and always.

In loving memory of Jeanne.
When Jeanne met Jan in the early fifties I was about 10 years old.
So many loving memories of the times we spent together, she was “my favorite sister”.
Years later when visiting her in Upper Hut, Wellington and other places it was always fun and a warm and family welcome.
We sure will treasure these memories. Jeanne will always be in our hearts.
Love to all of you and our condoleances for the whole family.
Anneke and Wil
