Allan Whiting

WHITING, Allan. – On August 16, 2026 peacefully at Heretaunga Rest Home, Upper Hutt; aged 93 years.  Dearly loved husband of Mary for 63 years.  Much loved father and father-in-law of Peter & Rebecca and Bruce and the late Heidi.  Grandfather of his 5 grandchildren, and great-grandfather of his 2 great-grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and can be made online https://www.wfa.org.nz/donate.  Special thanks to all the staff at Heretaunga Rest Home for their care.  A Service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held in Kingswood, Cnr King & Cairo Street, Upper Hutt on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 10.30am followed by private cremation.
