Philip James (Phil)'s life.
DEANE, Philip James ‘Phil’.- On December 14, 2024, suddenly in Upper Hutt, while enjoying time with friends; aged 67 years. Loved son of the late Ken & Jean, and step-mum Jan. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of John (dec), Suzanne & Ray, Helen & Steve, Graham & Michelle, Andrew (Toby), Denise & Patrick, Bridget & Dave, and Cindy. Adored Uncle, Great-Uncle, cousin, and a great mate to many. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wellington Special Children’s Christmas Party would be appreciated and may be made through our Givealittle page https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/phils-charity-of-choice-for-special-kids. Special thanks to his mates there at the track, Daytona staff and the emergency services. In accordance with Phil’s wishes a private cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Phil’s life will be held in Heretaunga Christian Centre, 51 Lane Street, Upper Hutt on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 2.30pm.
