Ivan Michael Downes

20 July 1957 – 12 February 2025

Passed peacefully at home.  Eldest son the late Brian and Marie Downes.  

The man was a tin-arse at the pokies, he loved his music, quizzes, books, beer, and his niblings, particularly Jade, Harper and Grace, and he will be sorely missed along with his toes.  

A service to celebrate all our friendships with Ivan will be held in Cornwall Manor, corner Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt on Thursday 20 February at 230pm.
