Extra special dad of Murray (dec) & Janet, Jo & Brent, and Lynley & Paul. Adored grandad/poppa of Jessica & Caleb, Josh & Penina, Ashley & Warwick, Aimee & Larry and Kayla and Ben. Proud great poppa of Dawson, Rowland, Larsen, Marnie and Aubrey. Special thanks to Dr Chris Masters (Ropata Medical) for his great support and exceptional care over the last 25 years and also to the lovely staff at Summerset Trentham (Manor Park) who cared for Doug over the last five months. A service for Doug will be held at Waiwhetu Uniting Church, 6 Trafalgar Street, Waiwhetu, Lower Hutt on Friday 20 September at 10.30 am followed by private cremation.
