Joyce Owen

Joyce Margaret Mary Owen (nee McCauley) – in her 97^th year, passed away peacefully with family at her side, on Tuesday 13 August at Elderslea Rest Home.

Loved wife of the late Keith, loved mum of Mary, Neil & Cora, John, Catherine, much loved nana of Brad & Sharon, Danny, Carmina and cherished nana Owen to Tighe, Eva, and Joss. Treasured sister to the late Paddy, late Terry, late Maureen and late Johnny. Loved aunt and great aunt to the Northcott families.

A big thank you to the wonderful staff at Elderslea who took such good care of Joyce during her final days, especially Paula and Jennifer.

A wonderful and incredibly special mum, nana and nana Owen, who will be deeply missed. RIP.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held in the chapel at Saint Patrick’s College, Fergusson Drive, Silverstream at 2pm on Wednesday 21 August 2024, followed by a burial at Akatarawa Cemetery.
