Nathan Raniera Stirling
We sadly lost Nathan, early on Wednesday 20th March 2024, aged 22. He was full of life with a daughter he adored.
Our condolences go out to all our whānau and friends who knew him as the respectful, cheeky, determined person he was.
A message from Gaylene Hopkins:
Just a brief message to thank those of you who were able to attend the tangi at Kōkiri marae for my son, but also for those whose wairua was with us from afar. Since my son’s passing, the love and appreciation from whānau and friends, Nathan’s mates and workmates, Bidfoods, Te Aka Whai Ora, and Te Whatu Ora has been overwhelming. Including the mihimihi and waiata shared as well as the many messages of support, baking, and koha from people all over Aotearoa. In spite of the circumstances, it gives me heart that we were united together as one to offer support in this painful and challenging time.
