WATT, Ann (Mum, Mother Duck, Granny):
Peacefully passed away on 28th October 2024 at Shona McFarlane Retirement Home, surrounded by family, aged 85. Now together again with her beloved husband, Bryan (Wattie), her lifelong partner in everything. Deeply loved Mother Duck of Deb & John, Bernie & Murray, Paul & Nicky, Theresa & Nigel, Peter & Janine, David (Dec), Cathy & Daren, Reenie & Brent, & Potsie (Dec), Ballsy, Gerard & Ali, Nik & Gummi, Frankie & Edwin, Liz & Bev, Titch & Mince, Andrew & Hongyi, Stephen & Valey, and Chris & Lenka. Cherished Granny of her 34 grandchildren and 26.5 great-grandchildren. Ann is at 5 Sheehy Grove, Wainuiomata — come by to say hello and share a smile, as she’d have wanted. Our heartfelt thanks to the Shona McFarlane staff for their warmth and care of our gorgeous Mum. A Rosary will be held at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Stanley Street, Wainuiomata, on Thursday 31st October, at 7.00pm. Ann’s requiem Mass will be celebrated at the same location on Friday, 1st November 2024, at 11.00am. Please park at the Wainuiomata Rugby Clubrooms, Moohan Street, if attending the requiem Mass. Following the service, join us at the Clubrooms to share stories and some refreshments.
