WAUGH, David John

Passed away suddenly on Sunday, 25 May 2025, aged 70 years.

Dearly loved husband of Miranda and her whole family.

Loving brother of Jan, Brenda, and Bob, and to his late sister Sandra.

Much-loved father of Sara, Rebecca, Todd, Jarrod, and Jacob.

Proud grandfather of Leyton, Kayla, and Riley, and cherished great-grandfather of Kiwa.

David was a devoted and honourable member of the New Zealand Police.

He was awarded the Medal for Bravery in recognition of his distinguished service.

A celebration of David’s life will be held in Cornwall Manor,

Corner of Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt on

Wednesday, 4 June 2025 at 2.00pm.  The service will be live-streamed.  The link can be accessed via this website.
