John (Wing Jun) Young

Passed peacefully on Tuesday 28^th November 2023, aged 92. Dearly loved husband of Margaret (Sue Lan). Much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Jenny, Diana, Mark and Kathryn, Lisa and Winsome. Adored Yeh Yeh and Goong Goong of Matt and Abbie, Natalie; Tim and Nicolle, Nick, Josh and Ash; Rachel and Joe, Michelle and Tom, Ash and Hausia. Loved Tai Goong of Koah; Zoe; Nehemiah, Aaliyah, Ardie, Willow, Theo; Arlo, Remi; and Valentine. Special thanks to the staff at Bob Scott Retirement Village, Wellington Hospital and Hutt Hospital, for their kind and loving care of John. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chinese Anglican Mission Church would be appreciated and may be left at the service or email enquiry.acm@gmail.com for account details. A service to celebrate the life of John will be held in the Chinese Anglican Mission Church, 30 Glenmore Street, Thorndon, Wellington, on Friday 8^th December at 10:30am, followed by interment at Makara Lawn Cemetery.
